Keep the Defense Guessing
My good buddy and founder of Blue Collar Basketball, Sam Allen, has used the Diamond BLOB for years and consistently averages 6 points per game off the set! So if you didn’t have one yet, this can be your go-to BLOB formation for man defense.
The only issue is, you’ll likely face a variety of defensive schemes on any given night. And it’s not enough to prepare a single formation that only works against one defense.

A Bit About Sam –
Recently inducted into the Reinhardt University Hall of Fame for his accomplishments as a player, Sam has 8 years of college coaching experience and runs Blue Collar Basketball, a player development training organization in Atlanta, GA which he founded in 2011.
Sam spent 10 years directing PGC sessions all across North America and internationally. He continues to help mentor young PGC Directors but now spends most of his time mentoring coaches at PGC Coaching, and co-hosting the Hardwood Hustle podcast.
Sam continues to transform the way the game is taught and played.

Coach TJ Rosene is the Director of Coach Development for PGC Coaching and the head coach of the Emmanuel University men’s basketball team.
He’s been around the block a few times and has been fortunate to win 400+ games, have 12 20-win seasons, and was named National Coach of the Year 3 times.
In addition, his teams have accomplished great success with 6 National Championship game appearances and 3 NCCAA National Championships.
