PROCESS

Video 3:

In order to have great practices, we must have a process.

The hardest part about having a great practice culture, is being willing to fight for it every day.

It’s too easy to get distracted throughout the season. TJ recommends sitting down with your staff and implementing processes that will keep you on track all season long.

Some examples may include:
– Writing them down each day on the white board and practice plan
– Designating a coach or player to be responsible for a particular area
– Review each day and each week how the team is living out each value
– Recognize and celebrate individuals for upholding values and standards
– Intentionally weave your values into practice drills by rewarding behaviors linked to your values
